Returns and refunds
Cancelling an order, the right of withdrawal, exchanges and refunds.
These terms apply to purchases in the mindfit.lv online shop operated by SIA EVENTS SOLUTIONS, reg. No. 40103886945, registered address: Ziepniekkalna iela 64/1-15, Riga, LV-1076, Latvia (the Seller). They supplement the Terms and the Delivery terms.
1. Cancelling an order
An order can be cancelled at any time before the goods are handed to the courier by writing to info@mindfit.lv or calling +371 20202985 and quoting the order number. Money paid for a cancelled order is refunded in full within 14 days at the latest, to the same payment method used for the purchase.
A consultation or other service booking can be cancelled or rescheduled by contacting us before the agreed time. If the service has not yet been provided, the payment is refunded in full.
2. Right of withdrawal and returning goods
The Buyer (consumer) has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, by sending a withdrawal notice to info@mindfit.lv. The Seller sends a withdrawal form by e-mail on request.
The Buyer must return the goods to the Seller within 14 days of sending the withdrawal notice. We agree the return address and method in our reply. All costs of sending the goods back to the Seller are borne by the Buyer, except where the goods are damaged or not as ordered.
Returned goods must be unused, undamaged and, where possible, in their original packaging. Under the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia the consumer is responsible for preserving the quality and safety of the goods during the withdrawal period. The Seller reserves the right to deduct compensation for any diminished value of goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
The right of withdrawal does not apply if:
- the goods by their nature cannot be returned, or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- the goods were made to the Buyer's individual specification;
- the Buyer has unsealed an audio or video recording or computer software;
- sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons have been unsealed (for example body-care products);
- a service (consultation, class) has been fully performed with the Buyer's consent within 14 days of purchase.
For a gift card the right of withdrawal applies for 14 days from purchase as long as the card has not been used.
3. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item for another (for example a different size or product), write to info@mindfit.lv. An exchange is handled as a return plus a new order: the returned item is refunded and the desired item is ordered anew. If the item you received is damaged or not as ordered, we exchange it free of charge and cover the return shipping.
4. Refunds
Refunds are made within 14 days of the day we receive the Buyer's withdrawal notice. The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods have been received back or the Buyer has supplied proof of having sent them. The refund is made to the same payment method used for the purchase (for example the payment card used to pay for the order) unless otherwise agreed with the Buyer. The price of the goods and the standard delivery charge are refunded; extra costs of a more expensive delivery option chosen by the Buyer are not.
5. Faulty or damaged goods
If goods are defective or do not conform to the contract, the Buyer has the statutory right, for 2 years, to demand repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund. In that case the Seller bears the return shipping costs. Please notify us as soon as the defect is discovered and attach photos of the item.
6. How to request a return
Write to info@mindfit.lv or call +371 20202985, stating the order number, the item and the solution you want (cancellation, return, exchange or refund). We reply within one business day. In the event of a dispute the Buyer may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (www.ptac.gov.lv).
